Some incredible conversations to kick off 2020

Hey there! Whew has it really only been a month since I sent the last newsletter? January has flown by in a rush of writing and planning some REALLY exciting things in the world of First Draft that I should be able to talk about by the time the next newsletter rolls around.
All this working and planning has made me think about delegating -- how it can be so hard to do, but so empowering to realize all the people in your network who are willing and able to answer the call when you ask for help. As Marie Lu said our mailbag episode (which is packed with awesome advice! you can hear it as a podcast episode and watch us chat on First Draft's IGTV channel, too!), it is so important to ask for help when you need it. I'm going to try to be better about that this month, which is jam packed.*
*It's also a good time to reflect on how we help and support the people around us, too. It can be just as, if not more, rewarding to give help than to receive.

I have been continued binging movies released between 1975 and 1995. I am calling this era the "Rotary Phones and Chain Smoking" era. Here are the movies I've watched that I can heartily recommend.
